Rob Zombie – The Zombie Horror Picture Show – UMe

By Jeffrey Easton

After witnessing Rob Zombie live several times I can attest to what is on this DVD to be the truth.  Rob Zombie Never fails to deliver and given the arena size stages he performs on he has a massive theater to give his fans a freakish movie that is his stage show.  Rob just doesn’t have a band and just doesn’t play music, he has cohorts to help him deliver his heinous schemes on stage and create a plot that pushes the songs.  The set list that was devised for this scary movie is sinister in itself with opening blood cut Teenage Nosferatu Pussy and the set killers Living Dead Girl, Dragula, Never Gonna Stop, Meet The Creeper and The Lords Of Salem.  His band of evil henchmen, John 5, Ginger Fish and Piggy D are the perfect foils for Rob’s horrific creations and they peel off every bit of evil they can.  The costumes are insane, the make up over the top, this is rock n roll live theater at its peak.  You cannot deny that Rob Zombie is the master of the freak show after witnessing this spectacle. Sure Alice Cooper and KISS came first but Rob has turned that torch into a bonfire. Do not deny yourself this DVD and do NOT deny yourself seeing this art form in person.
