It has finally come to pass, the immensely popular Dream Theater DVD Live At Budokan is finally available in the Blu-Ray format. This stunning concert is a vivid visual treat for the eyes and ears and now it is immensely stunning to look at. This was an out of the box hit when it was released back in 2004 with its amazing show and to have it again in this format is nothing short of great. The set list was amazing: The Dying Soul, Trial Of Tears, Only A Matter Of Time, Solitary Shell, Endless Sacrifice as well as In The Name of God and the obligatory Pull Me Under were in the set that night and to watch these five uber talented guys just stroll through them as if the songs were a few chords and a drum beat. The bonus materials make the set worth it with Japanese tour documentary, Dream Theater Chronicles 2004 and John’s Guitar World and Jordan’s Keyboard World. Hours of footage overall make this well worth buying all over again. Dream Theater are possibly the most talented band in the world and this Blu-Ray release of Live At Budokan shows the world why.
