It takes balls and mastery to combine musical legends and that is just what Beatallica has always done and has continued to do with Abbey Load. To mine the legendary Beatles catalog and throw it up against an angry wall of Metallica fueled guitars is something I thought would never happen but strange things happen in music which is why we love it. Taking the likes of Help, Please Please Me, Sun King and putting them through the thrash ringer seems natural and giving a heavy but melancholy touch to Golden Slumbers gives this beautiful track a modern facelift. Beatallica thrives because unlike others that try this they do not force the composition; it comes out as if it was written like this, kudos to all involved. Also, Jaymz channels Hetfield perfectly, every nuance captured as he growls through psychedelic offerings churned up by massive guitars. This is the offering for the true metal fan that can see the genius of Beatallica.
