What happened, Dee? At one point in time you had the world by the tail. Releasing many monster albums of bombastic metal, owning the metal fashion with your garish looks and possessing a dark vocal growl. Now, you are leasing your songs to bad commercials, ending up IN bad commercials and doing a show tunes record? Is this how you really want to go out? You are supposed to possess the off the wall look, not live it in garish musical numbers. I do not have a problem with the tunes, Mack The Knife has always been a sinister song in its own right, I have a problem with who is delivering it. As said, Dee has been a mouthpiece for metal, not this. Its ok to do something different, not go completely off the rails. Big Spender? Cabaret? Whatever Lola Wants? These are things for the Rat Pack, not the Leader Of The pack. Dee, do another metal record unless there is just not any money on it for you otherwise just stick to commercials..
