Eyes On Satellites

By Rickelle Tavares

Eyes on Satellites, this is a band you’re going to want to remember as well as keep an eye on. As far as I’m aware with the lyrical and musical talent this band possesses the only thing I see for them in the future is success. Originally located and formed in Lowell, Massachusetts, the band consists of David Longval on vocals, Will Lopez Vocals and Guitar, Mark Thompson on the Drums, Bassist Danny Looney, And Andrew Webster on the Guitar. These guys are 100% dedicated and passionate about every song they produce, there isn’t a lyric or riff that isn’t mastered close to near perfection to create their own unique sound. The release of the Explorations Ep in Jan 2015 proved to be nothing but a huge success, the songs from first to last were nothing short of epic, with fan Favorites such as “Dollhouse” and “Imperfections”. From my personal experience the songs are amazing to listen to, but watching it performed live is a whole separate experience. Each member of the band has his own unique twist to make the performance something to remember, Mark Thompson for example will stand on his drum kit mid set, Danny Looney will manage to whip his bass in a full circle and not miss a note, Andrew Webster has this move almost identical to the Mitch Lucker stomp. Will Lopez does this amazing thing where he holds his guitar up and does a move called “The Fatal Flow” and it’s as sick as it sounds, Dave is the Powerhouse as he has an incredible vocal range and you can feel the emotion from every word he says. Regardless if they’re preforming for a huge crowd or a smaller intimate set you get the same consistent performance that time after time will have you coming back to every show. If you’ve ever seen or heard something so good or made you so happy that it gave you Goosebumps that’s the only way to describe seeing Eyes On Satellites live. This is a band that is writing and making songs that are relatable and touch cords with you on a deeper level. To put it simply this band is going to be huge, and we are all anticipating what they have in store for us.
