Queensryche - Mindcrime At The Moore Blu-Ray - Eagle

Queensryche – Mindcrime At The Moore Blu-Ray – Eagle Vision

By Jeffrey Easton

Queensryche are the consummate hard rock band with progressive tendencies and when I say that I mean they are not afraid to go different routes and try new things.  Mindcrime was one of those things and it has turned out to be a lifelong passion for their fan base.  Mindcrime At The Moore found the band giving their fans what they wanted, Mindcrime in its entirety plus Mindcrime II to complete the story.  The Moore is a great theater in Seattle and it provided the perfect intimacy needed for such a detailed story which made for such a perfect concert.  The encore featured Jet City Woman and Walk In The Shadows, of course not part of Mindcrime but a nice piece of icing on the cake for a detailed show.  This was originally released on DVD in 2007 but now has been stunning remastered into the Blu-Ray format and it makes the show come completely alive.  The visuals are amazing and it seems as if it is a whole new concert for the eyes.  The bonus features show an incredible tour documentary as well as The Chase performed with the late great Ronnie James Dio.  The Mindcrimes are solid cornerstones in Queensryche’s catalog and to see them come alive together is a show you want to relive over again.
